Hello and welcome to a new video of my top 10 of the most powerful supercomputers in the world. A supercomputer is a computer with a high level of computing performance compared to a general-purpose PC. They were introduced in the 1960s. Today, they play an important role in the field of computational science and are used for a wide range intensive tasks in various fields, including quantum mechanics, weather forecasting, climate research, oil and gas exploration, molecular modeling and physical simulations. I will be basing this video of the November 2016 on the top500 list. But enough about that, let’s get right into the video.
